Skai Jackson stood up for the father of her child after a blogger posted a message he supposedly wrote about her after she announced her pregnancy.
The former Disney Channel star, 22, shared the exciting news on Tuesday that she’s going to have her first baby with her boyfriend, whose name has not been disclosed yet.
On that very day, a man known as 'Yerkky Yerkky' reportedly shared a post on Facebook expressing his frustration, saying, "I'm really annoyed that I got this clueless Disney Channel girl pregnant. I can't stand her."
Blogger Tasha K shared a comment on her Instagram, which triggered a heated response from Skai and her mother, Kiya Cole.
Skai maintained that his Facebook account had been compromised, stating in the comments: "His account was hacked! He never made this statement. That's all there is to it."
Skai Jackson has come to the defense of her supposed boyfriend following a blogger's claim about a message he reportedly sent regarding her pregnancy; seen in January 2024.
Blogger Tasha K left a comment on her Instagram, which led to a heated response from Skai and her mother, Kiya Cole.
Her mom commented, "He never said that! Please cut out the drama!"
The post has been removed from the page, and pictures of a smiling Skai during her pregnancy were added to the account, accompanied by heart emojis.
Skai revealed her pregnancy to People, which published pictures of the actress showcasing her growing baby bump.
Jackson is looking forward to welcoming her first baby with her boyfriend, who has not been publicly identified yet.
"I'm really excited to start this new phase in my life as I welcome motherhood and take on fresh acting opportunities. I feel incredibly happy!" she shared with the magazine.
In pictures shared by the outlet, Skai showed off her pregnancy belly while wearing a lilac crop top during a day out with her mom, Kiya Cole.
This follows Skai's recent appearance in LA, where she was seen gently holding her belly, leading to speculation about her being pregnant.
The news of Skai's pregnancy follows several months after she was taken into custody on allegations of domestic violence, although no charges were filed against her.
In September, it was announced that the Los Angeles District Attorney's office decided not to pursue charges and closed the case involving her.
On August 8, the 22-year-old actress was spotted at Universal Studios CityWalk in Los Angeles, California, following an incident with her boyfriend, whose name has not been disclosed.
Jackson is anticipating the arrival of her first baby with her boyfriend, whose name has not been revealed; seen in August.
She was arrested earlier on August 8 at Universal Studios CityWalk in Los Angeles, California, following a reported disagreement with her boyfriend.
Authorities arrived at the amusement park following a report initiated by security staff who had held Jackson for supposedly pushing her partner.
Officers examined the video recordings of the supposed event.
The sheriff's department confirmed at the time that no weapons were used and there were no noticeable injuries.
"Skai is glad to learn that the investigation showed this was simply a misunderstanding," said a spokesperson for Jackson in a statement to PEOPLE.
"We are grateful that the District Attorney made a swift decision to not pursue any charges, and Skai is eager to move on from this situation," it added.
When she was taken into custody, law enforcement officials informed TMZ that she told the officers who arrested her that she was in a happy engagement and anticipating the arrival of a baby.
The celebrity, who brushed off fans' inquiries about her arrest, reportedly won’t face any charges since prosecutors determined there wasn’t enough evidence, according to TMZ.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office notified the media that the case will not proceed because Jackson does not have any previous criminal record.
The supposed victim's boyfriend has no injuries and has not been working with the prosecutors.
Jackson gained widespread recognition for her performances in the Disney Channel sitcom Jessie and its spin-off series Bunk'd, both of which concluded in 2018.
