It has been confirmed by a coroner that Sinéad O’Connor passed away as a result of natural causes.

The Southwark coroner's court in London has given a short declaration concerning the demise of the singer-songwriter who had made the city her home in her final days. They have stated that Ms. O'Connor passed away due to natural causes, which is why the coroner's office will no longer be carrying out any further investigations into the incident.

Last year in July, O'Connor passed away at the age of 56. The police were called to Herne Hill in south London after reports of an "unresponsive woman." However, the police stated that they did not believe the death to be suspicious.

After her passing, many of her admirers expressed deep sadness and sorrow for the loss of such a talented artist. Among them was the taoiseach of her homeland, Ireland, Leo Varadkar, who noted that her music had touched people all over the globe and that her skill and ability were unparalleled. The president of Ireland, Michael D Higgins, also acknowledged her incredible talent and the special bond she had formed with her fans, who loved and appreciated her greatly.

In the previous month, O'Connor recorded a video in her flat located in Herne Hill. She mentioned in the recording that she had relocated there not too long ago and had plans to create new music.

Throughout her professional journey, O’Connor achieved worldwide success with her rendition of Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U," and her album "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got" reached the coveted top spot on music charts in both the United States and Europe in 1990. She showcased her talents on nine other noteworthy studio albums, with her most recent release being "I'm Not Bossy, I'm the Boss" in 2014.

In New York City, there will be a concert dedicated to honoring two deceased Irish stars, Shane MacGowan and her. The event is scheduled for 20 March and features performances by musicians such as Cat Power and David Gray.
