Who is Simon Case?

Simon Case is a British civil servant who is currently serving as the Cabinet Secretary, a role he assumed in September 2020. As Cabinet Secretary, he is the head of the Civil Service and the most senior policy adviser to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Before his appointment, Case held a number of high-profile positions in government, including Principal Private Secretary to two Prime Ministers as well as Director of Strategy at GCHQ, the UK's intelligence and security organization.
