Loan round-up: Peart-Harris starts in Swansea's draw at Sheffield Wednesday
Myles Peart-Harris Aids Swansea In Draw At Sheffield
Peart-Harris expressed his frustration about the team's failure to convert scoring opportunities after the match, during an interview on the Swans' website.
"When we arrived, our goal was to earn all three points. During the first half, we held onto the ball for a significant amount of time and showcased some quality play," the 22-year-old said.
"In the second half, things became challenging for us. As a team, we really had to push ourselves physically, and getting a point against such a strong opponent is something we appreciate."
"We're able to maintain possession for a good amount of time, but we're struggling to convert that into goals in the final third. That's the current situation. We have to make sure we take advantage of our opportunities when we're dominating the game."
In League One, Tristan Crama and Michael Olakigbe both played in their teams' home losses, which ended with a score of 2-1.
Crama added another 90 minutes of play for Exeter, who found themselves behind just one minute into the game and were trailing 2-0 to Reading by halftime.
Ilmari Niskanen scored a goal just before the hour mark, but the Grecians were unable to secure the crucial equalizer.
Wigan, who fell behind to Mansfield, brought Olakigbe on during the break after being down 1-0 at halftime.
The winger made a significant contribution, as the home team leveled the score with a goal from Thelo Aasgaard shortly after the start of the second half. However, Keanu Baccus secured the victory for the Stags.
Ben Winterbottom may take to the field for the 12th time this season with AFC Fylde tonight.
Fylde heads to Boston United for a match that sees the teams in 22nd and 21st place face off in the National League.
