Sheffield Wednesday is a professional football club located in Sheffield, England. The club was founded in 1867 and is known as the third-oldest club in the world. Over the years, Sheffield Wednesday has been a consistent member of English football's top-tier, with the team spending the majority of its time in the Premier League, the English Football League Championship, and occasionally, in the lower tiers.

Regarded as one of the most successful clubs in English football history, Sheffield Wednesday has won four league titles, one FA Cup, and three League Cups. The club's fans are known as "The Owls" and have a long-standing rivalry with fellow Sheffield team, Sheffield United.
