Sheffield United vs Watford

Sheffield United ran out 1-0 winners at home to fellow promotion-chasers Watford courtesy of a second half own goal from Ryan Porteous. After back-to-back defeats to Middlesbrough and Millwall, the Blades needed to return to winning ways and they did just that following a hard-fought affair.

After a goalless first half, the game was decided when Ryan Porteous turned Oli McBurnie's header into his own net in the 73rd-minute. With Middlesbrough losing, the gap to third is once again seven points.

Here is the story of a huge win for Paul Heckingbottom's men, who returned to winning ways to ensure their promotion destiny remains in their hands.
