Sheffield United defender Graham has sustained an injury that will keep him out for the remainder of the season.
Molly Graham Out For Season With Injury
The Blades shared the announcement through a post on their official club website this evening.
Graham played in Sheffield United's first two games of the season against Durham and Charlton Athletic. Unfortunately, during the match against Charlton, she injured her Achilles tendon and will be out of action for several months.
Reports indicate that the center-back has already had surgery and has begun her rehabilitation. Unfortunately, she is not expected to be fit again until the season concludes.
Graham’s injury is a significant setback for Sheffield United, who have yet to earn any points in the Barclays Women’s Championship this season. The young defender is regarded as one of The Blades' top talents, and she was expected to be a crucial part of the team this year. Her absence for the entire season presents a serious challenge to the South Yorkshire team's chances of staying in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
Sheffield United faces another tough match on Sunday afternoon as they head to Kingston Park to compete against Newcastle United in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
