I'm really excited to experience all the glitz and glamour of Strictly Come Dancing in person. While I have some experience with live TV, dancing Latin and Ballroom on such a big stage is a completely new challenge for me. I can't guarantee my dancing skills, but I'm definitely going to give it my all!

Singer Shayne Ward has been announced as the eighth famous person to compete in the upcoming season of Strictly Come Dancing. The popular show, created by BBC Studios, will be back on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this Fall. With this season marking twenty years of dance on Strictly, viewers can expect even more dazzle, style, and memorable dances than ever before.

Shayne Ward is a talented entertainer who excels in both acting and singing.

His first song and album were very popular in the UK, with his song, That's My Goal reaching number one at Christmas after he won the second season of The X Factor in 2005. In addition to being a successful musician, Shayne has also won many awards for his acting, especially his role as Aidan Connor in ITV's Coronation Street. He has also appeared in several musicals and movies, such as Rock of Ages in London's West End. Currently, he is the main character in the crime-drama show The Good Ship Murder on Channel 5.
