TV stations are adjusting their programming to make room for sports events, resulting in The Great British Sewing Bee being moved around or taken off the schedule.

The sewing contest was scheduled to air at 9pm as usual, but the network has announced that it will be substituted with a rerun of The Repair Shop.

Don't fret, Sewing Bee fans! The new episode will be airing tomorrow instead of its usual time, at 9pm on Wednesday 3rd July. It will be taking over The Repair Shop's usual slot.

The BBC lineup is packed with Wimbledon tennis matches and Euro 2024 coverage, but there are no football games on tomorrow and Thursday.

The last game in the round-of-16 of the Euros, with Turkey facing off against Austria, will be shown on ITV1 tonight. Meanwhile, Wimbledon coverage will be on BBC Two at 9pm.

Today, it was revealed that Andy Murray will not be participating in the singles competition at Wimbledon. However, he will still be playing in the doubles event with his brother Jamie, marking his last tournament.

The Scottish athlete had to withdraw from the competition because of a back injury. He had surgery to remove a spinal cyst and his team announced that this will be his final tournament.

Tennis isn't the only sport causing chaos for TV schedules. The Euros have caused some significant changes to when EastEnders airs, with some days skipping episodes and others showing two in a row.

With both sports events still ongoing in the summer, and the Olympics starting later this month, there are likely to be more changes to the schedule for regular TV shows in the next few weeks.
