Servette vs Chelsea: Conference League play-off - LIVE!

Servette vs Chelsea

Chelsea has more work to do to make sure they can play in the Europa Conference League. Tonight they are playing against Servette in the second leg of their play-off match. They already won 2-0 at Stamford Bridge, and now they want to finish the job easily.

Enzo Maresca's team is feeling confident as they prepare for their next game. They recently defeated Wolves 6-2, earning their first win of the Premier League season. Noni Madueke, who scored a hat-trick in the last game, will be playing again. However, Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson will be starting on the bench this time.

Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell are not participating, as Chelsea are still attempting to offload several key players before the transfer window shuts tomorrow evening. Maresca has stated clearly that those not part of his strategies will not be getting any playing time. Stay updated on all the events with the live blog from Standard Sport below!

The Conference League draw is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1:30pm GMT.

The blog will only include a single league standings for all 36 clubs, just like in other UEFA competitions this year.

Every team will have the opportunity to compete in six games against six unique rivals – three at home and three on the road. Teams from the same league will not compete against each other, and no team will go up against more than two opponents from a single country.

The first eight teams will advance straight to the knockout phase. Teams that place ninth to 24th will compete in a play-off round, while those that finish 25th to 36th will be eliminated.
