Inside Scott Mills' star-studded wedding: From celeb performances to pyrotechnics and bespoke gin station
Scott Mills and his spouse Sam Vaughan got married at Xalet Del Nin, a stunning villa in the Mediterranean region close to Barcelona, on Saturday night.
The wedding ceremony of the 51-year-old BBC Radio 2 presenter and his partner, who works as a producer, was attended by many high-profile personalities. Rylan Clark also posted several pictures from the stunning occasion on social media.
The presenter, who is 35 years old, shared a post on social media stating that the wedding was the best ever. He expressed love to the newlyweds with "xx." The post also showcased pictures with other famous people who attended the wedding. Some of the notable attendees were UK Eurovision star Sam Ryder, Zoe Ball, Jordan North, Vick Hope, and Calvin Harris along with his spouse.
At the private celebration, Pixie Lott sang Ellie Goulding's song titled "How Long Will I Love You" while Calum Scott performed "You Are The Reason" when the couple exchanged their vows.
At the occasion, that happened with a beautiful view of the sea, Chris Stark, the ex co-host of Mills at BBC Radio 1, acted as the host. Prior to the ceremony, all attendees were given maracas and fans, which had a snapshot of the joyous couple together and were personalized specifically for them.
The couple who recently got married appeared dashing in identical black formal suits and bowties, positioned on an impressive green platform, encircled by an ample quantity of indigenous plants and creatures.
Once they pronounced their vows, they sealed their marriage with a kiss amid a colorful smoke plume.
While guests enjoyed a refreshing Aperol drink and personalized gin stand from the Hensol Castle Distillery during the cocktail hour, they were requested to jot down their wedding wishes for the delighted couple.
At the same time, guests were provided with bite-sized snacks such as small tacos, pieces of brownie, and servings of fruit arranged on a platter.
The party of the couple stretched on until the wee hours of the morning with special entertainment from Ryder and a DJ set by Joel Corry.
As they headed towards their reception, the newly married couple was greeted with the catchy beats of Becky Hill, David Guetta, and Ella Henderson’s well-known track "Crazy What Love Can Do". The stunning pyrotechnics in the backdrop made for a mesmerizing spectacle. Soon after, they finally settled down to enjoy their dinner.
Looking back on their memorable day, Mills expressed: "Our wedding day was absolutely amazing. The fact that we got to share it with our nearest and dearest in Spain made it even more extraordinary."
