The Bahrain Grand Prix kicked off the new Formula 1 season, which was filled with a lot of excitement due to the previous off-season's events. Lewis Hamilton declared his departure from Mercedes, and the situation regarding Red Bull team principal Christian Horner had reached its pinnacle.
As the Horner dispute continues to cause commotion, F1 shifted focus to the actual racing where Max Verstappen achieved his first grand prix win of the season in Bahrain with ease.
According to the recent Bahrain race, it looks like Red Bull will be the top contender again, as Verstappen aims for his fourth consecutive championship win. Ferrari seem to be their toughest competition, especially since Hamilton will be joining them in 2025. Despite this, Sainz, who came in third place behind Perez, won't be racing due to illness. Instead, an 18-year-old Brit named Ollie Bearman will be taking his place on Friday.
Mercedes and McLaren performed well, taking the fifth to eighth positions, respectively. Aston Martin managed to secure ninth and tenth place, earning three championship points. It was a race where all 20 drivers managed to cross the finish line. Now, the big question is if they can repeat their performance in the upcoming Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.

Max Verstappen Claims Pole, Ferrari's Ollie Bearman Shines In Saudi Debut
Ollie Bearman, a teenager, marked the milestone of being the youngest ever British driver in Formula One history by securing the 11th position in the qualifying round in his Ferrari. He will be competing in Saturday's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Bearman, who was only a few months shy of turning 19 years old, was unexpectedly assigned to take Carlos Sainz's place due to the latter's sudden hospitalization caused by appendicitis. As a result, Bearman was given a challenging task right from the start.
The teenager from Essex, who only had one hour of practice and had never driven an F1 car at night, almost beat Lewis Hamilton and advanced to Q3. He was only 0.036 seconds off Hamilton's time.
Max Verstappen, despite Red Bull's recurring issues away from the circuit, managed to qualify in first place. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc attained second place, trailing by three tenths, and Sergio Perez took third place.
In the recent race, Fernando Alonso secured the fourth position on the leaderboard while George Russell and Hamilton managed to grab the seventh and eighth positions respectively for Mercedes. Hamilton lagged behind Verstappen by close to one second in terms of lap time.

Ollie Bearman Wins F1 Saudi GP
When I woke up, my mind was occupied with thoughts about my F2 race. I was thrown into the tough situation of FP3 and qualifying, but still managed to muster up some fun. My best wishes always go out to Carlos.
The racing path is constantly improving, the level of traction is unbelievable - I was surprised after my initial lap. It's an amazing sensation but requires a period of adaptation.
Right now, I'm not feeling very pleased with myself. As someone who very much enjoys racing, I feel like the car I was driving could have easily made it to Q3. However, in a few days' time, I'll be able to reflect on it and hopefully feel better about the situation.
The objective was to complete numerous laps, particularly during the evening. I was almost touching the wall! Attempted to finish as many laps as I could.

We've had some intense races in this area with many straightaways. However, I believe that our race pace is strong and that the car will perform exceptionally well on this track.

Leclerc Secures P2 In F1 Saudi GP Qualifying
During my second lap, I managed to perform to the best of my abilities and I'm pleased with the outcome. It's disappointing that we are not as close to our expectations.
Compared to last year, we have made progress and our car is now in a better position. We will continue to work towards making improvements for the actual race.
Regarding Bearman, I wish for a swift recovery for Carlos. As for Ollie, he has performed exceptionally well, as he was able to quickly get acquainted with the car and feel at ease behind the wheel. It was an extraordinary day, and I am optimistic that tomorrow will yield another outstanding race for both of us.

Sergio Perez Takes P3 In F1 Saudi GP Qualifying
We didn't see much progress, which led to us falling short of front row. Max managed to secure a remarkable lap, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to match it today. However, we have a long race ahead tomorrow, so there's always a possibility for surprises.
