Hideaway: Simon Rimmer's New Late-Night Club
A brand new members' lounge is being introduced at Co-op Live in Manchester, enhancing the venue's already remarkable lineup of offerings.
Joining a group of 32 other vendors, bars, restaurants, and lounges, 'Hideaway' features a menu designed by chef and television star Simon Rimmer.
Famous for co-hosting Channel 4's Sunday Brunch alongside Tim Lovejoy and for establishing the beloved Greens restaurants in Manchester, Rimmer is now embarking on a new project that brings his culinary creations from television to the Co-op Live.
Visitors will be treated to a colorful array of dishes from a menu focused on Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, which is one of the celebrity chef's personal favorites.
Taking the place of the old 'Decibel Lounge', the newly opened luxury lounge called 'Hideaway' offers the same amazing view of the stage from section 103.
‘Hideaway’ members enjoy exclusive access to desirable seating for all publicly ticketed events, allowing them to soak up the ambiance before and after each performance.
There will be food available at the start and conclusion of each event, so guests can look forward to some delicious bites. After all that dancing, you'll surely want to indulge in some tasty snacks to satisfy those post-concert cravings.
With a menu designed specifically for entertainment spots like Manchester’s Co-op Live, Simon Rimmer offers a variety of dishes including kebabs, small plates, and easy snacks. This selection ensures that guests have everything they need to keep their energy up during the event.
Beverages are essential, particularly when they are carefully designed and matched with your meal. This includes options like Moët & Chandon champagne and cocktails made with Hennessy Cognac.
Now, it's not just your musical preferences that will be taken into account; your taste buds can also enjoy a delightful experience!
This unique experience is quite limited, with just 100 spots open. If it attracts as much attention as the other lounges at the venue, it's bound to be fully booked soon.
Sam Piccione III, the President of Sales at OVG International, stated, “The makeover of Hideaway represents an important milestone in our ongoing efforts to provide exceptional premium experiences at Co-op Live."
"Thanks to Simon Rimmer joining us, we're elevating the experience to new heights. We're crafting a venue where music enthusiasts can revel in fantastic tunes accompanied by exceptional food, cocktails, and Champagne, all within a chic party vibe that will make attending live shows at Co-op Live truly memorable."

Elbow To Perform At Castlefield Bowl Next Year
Iconic rock band Elbow from Greater Manchester will be back in the city center next year for a major outdoor summer concert.
Although it's still more than six months away, the concert lineup is already shaping up to be quite busy. With this new tour announcement, let’s keep our fingers crossed that there's some space for… Elbow. (Apologies!)
Next year, the band will be performing at Castlefield Bowl, one of Manchester's most remarkable outdoor locations, following their concert at Co-op Live, the city's latest entertainment spot, in May. This highlights the band's significant impact.
Elbow is an English rock band from Bury that released their first album in 2001 and has continued to reach new heights of success ever since.
Since entering the music scene, the band has garnered unique accolades and accomplishments, including composing the song "First Steps" for the London 2012 Olympics.
This year, the rock band achieved their fourth number one album on the UK charts with their new release, Audio Vertigo.
Their most popular song, "One Day Like This," has become a timeless favorite that everyone knows. Audiences at their concerts belt out every last word with incredible enthusiasm.
Fans in the UK can catch Elbow as they tour across the country, with their Manchester performances marking the addition of new shows in places like York, Warwick, Tynemouth, and others.
In these cities, the tour will be held at some amazing spots, such as castles, nature reserves, and our beautiful downtown area.
Guy Garvey expressed: “We’re going back to some places we’ve cherished for the summer of '25, and we’ll also be exploring towns and cities we haven't visited in a while. There's truly nothing like spending an evening with good friends.”
The upcoming concert in Manchester promises to be a unique event. It's the nearest performance to their hometown of Bury, and they'll be joined by special guests, The Slow Readers Club.
The featured guests also hail from Manchester and are achieving impressive success with their indie rock hits, often likened to those of The Killers.
Elbow is scheduled to perform for the audience in Manchester at Castlefield Bowl on July 2, 2025. Tickets will be available for purchase starting Friday, October 18, and you can find them HERE.
