Espresso singer Sabrina Carpenter announces Glasgow show
Popular singer Sabrina Carpenter has revealed that she will be performing at an arena in Glasgow as part of her upcoming UK tour.
The singer from America will have a concert at the OVO Hydro on March 11, 2025 to promote her upcoming album, Short n' Sweet.
Right now, she is dominating the UK singles charts with her songs Espresso and Please Please Please, holding the top two spots for four consecutive weeks. This achievement makes her the first female artist to achieve this feat.
The only two women artists who have simultaneously claimed the top two spots are Madonna (in 1985) and Ariana Grande (2019).
Earlier this summer, the 25-year-old received recognition and approval from Taylor Swift when she performed as her opening act for a series of stadium concerts in Latin America and Australia.
The latest album by Short N' Sweet will be out on August 23rd.
Apart from her music, Carpenter is also recognized for her work as an actress, starring in various Disney movies and television series.
During her previous trip to Scotland, she put on a show at the Barrowland venue in Glasgow in 2023. Her upcoming tour in 2025 will have stops in Birmingham, London, and Manchester as well.
Tickets to the performance will be available for purchase starting next week.
