Sabrina Carpenter has a crush on more than just Barry Keoghan, another Irish man.

Carpenter, who is 24 years old, shared with Vanity Fair that if she spots Cillian Murphy at a party, she plans on leaving the event with him. She joked that she would exit at the same time as him and follow his car to see where he lives.

At the party attended by Carpenter and Keoghan, the latter, who is 31 years old, left a comment on the video in the form of two emojis - "????????☘️." It is not clear whether the raised hand emoji indicates that he is willing to accompany Murphy with Carpenter, or whether he is reminding her that he was her date for the Oscars ceremony.

The fans had different opinions on Carpenter's remarks regarding the Oppenheimer actor, creating a division. Some of them pointed out that Murphy, who is 47 years old, is in a contented marriage with his wife named Yvonne McGuinness for almost two decades. The rest of the fans backed up Carpenter's playful statements.

One person on Instagram said, "She's gathering lots of Irish guys like they're Infinity Stones ????????," while another included, "Don't be so serious, people! She's just having fun. We all have famous people we admire!"

Keoghan and Carpenter were rumored to be dating in December 2023 after they were seen having dinner together in Los Angeles. Recently, Keoghan visited Singapore to see Carpenter perform at the Taylor Swift Eras Tour. During the show, Keoghan smiled while Carpenter performed her famously suggestive "Nonsense" song outro.

According to an inside source who spoke exclusively with Us Weekly, Sabrina is delighted that Barry has been putting in the effort to attend her shows and provide support. Even though Keoghan's romantic involvement with Carpenter is of recent development, he and Murphy have a longstanding friendship. The two performers from Ireland, who acted alongside each other in the 2017 film Dunkirk, have been there for each other during this awards season. In fact, they were even seen taking a picture together at the Academy Gala in December of 2023.
