Aryna Sabalenka thinks that her superb performance in the Australian Open can be replicated in other major tennis tournaments, as she grabbed her second consecutive championship in Melbourne.

Sabalenka from Belarus will remain as the second-best player in the world, just behind Iga Swiatek. However, this could potentially change in the upcoming year if Sabalenka can continue playing impressively and consistently in major tournaments.

During the past five major championship tournaments, Sabalenka triumphed twice and even made it to the final competition at the US Open on hard courts. During this entire period, Sabalenka never lost a match before the semi-final stage. On the other hand, Swiatek only managed to reach the last four once, when she defended her French Open championship.

Defeating Swiatek at Roland Garros will probably be Sabalenka's most difficult task, but she undoubtedly has the skills needed for playing on grass. With improved control over her emotions, she may have been able to participate in all four finals last year.

The 25-year-old expressed, "In my opinion, I have demonstrated that I am capable of playing on any type of surface during the previous year." The individual continued, "I became very overwhelmed during the two semi-finals."

I competed against some remarkable athletes, and they were performing at an awe-inspiring level. However, I got very overwhelmed and my emotions got the best of me, causing me to lose the semi-finals.

I strongly believe that if I continue putting in the same level of effort and dedication that I am currently doing, and if we continue developing what we are currently building, I am completely capable of achieving the same results on clay and grass courts.

Therefore, I will continue to dedicate myself to my work with determination and optimism in the hope that I will reach my objective once again this year.

Sabalenka had an impressive two-week performance where she didn't lose a single set in all seven matches she played. The only opponent who managed to take more than five games off her was Coco Gauff in the semi-finals.

Laura Robson, a former top British player, spoke on Eurosport and expressed her thoughts on an outstanding performance displayed during the two weeks. She believes that the players in the locker room will start worrying about facing this player in upcoming matches.

Sabalenka doesn't seem satisfied with just two titles. Her calm and effortless defeat of her opponents should make her competitors stop and think.

Currently, she is trailing Swiatek by two slam titles and felt happy to break out of the label of being a one-slam wonder.

She expressed that she didn't want to be the type of player who wins and then disappears. This thought has been on her mind for some time now.

I simply wanted to demonstrate my capability of being consistently present and winning yet another victory. It's my fervent wish to have more than two, however, this one was incredibly significant to me.

Sabalenka's coaches are just as ambitious as she is. Jason Stacy, the fitness trainer, stated that they work in different areas but talk about the necessary improvements during and after the matches.

Stacy has been strolling through Melbourne Park with a signature of Sabalenka marked on his bald head using a pen. The world's second-ranked player has left her mark on him, and he proudly bears it as he walks around the area.

As a means to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere outside of the court, the team has made an effort towards this goal. However, Stacy is not willing to agree to the upcoming proposal.

He mentioned that the situation could worsen as they are now insisting he must have a tattoo of it on his head. He expressed uncertainty about it. Every tournament they participate in, they come up with something to do, and they usually follow through with it.
