Novak Djokovic is excited for an intense match against Holger Rune in the fourth round of Wimbledon. He predicts there will be a lot of excitement and action on the court.

In the meantime, Rune enters the game following a tough five-set victory over Quentin Halys.

He won a big match on Saturday with a score of 1-6 7-6(4) 6-4 7-6(4) 6-1, earning himself a chance to play against Djokovic.

The pair will be playing on Centre Court on Monday and the 24-time Grand Slam champion is not underestimating his opponent. He hopes to avoid losing for the third time to the young Danish player.

He stated, "When it comes to playing on the court and competing, it's evident that we both have that intense drive."

Day 6 of Wimbledon was full of excitement as Djokovic fought hard to advance, while Putintseva shocked everyone by defeating the top-ranked Swiatek.

I believe that when we play on Monday, the match will be full of excitement. He is an amazing player, there's no question about it. He enjoys playing in high-pressure situations and performing on grass courts. I think he will be a challenging opponent. I will need to bring my A-game in order to win.

I have a great relationship with [Rune]. He's a really friendly guy and has always been kind to me and my team, and we treat him the same way.

"I make sure I'm there for him whenever he needs practice, advice, guidance, or anything else," stated Djokovic.

Both Rune and the Serb showed admiration for each other, with Rune giving praise to the Serb for his efforts in pursuing his first Grand Slam title.

"I anticipate a challenging match. I believe it will always be difficult when you compete against Novak," Rune stated.

"He is renowned as one of the fiercest competitors in history and has proven to be one of the most accomplished players. Therefore, I anticipate only exceptional performance from him."

Before the Djokovic-Rune match, Elena Rybakina will play against Anna Kalinskaya, and Taylor Fritz will compete against Alexander Zverev.
