Webber, aged 37, is currently serving as the temporary head coach of the Chicago Hounds in the MLR in the United States. Before this role, he worked as the forwards coach and later as the head coach of the Jersey Reds after retiring from his 16-year playing career.

Webber, a former player for Leeds Carnegie, Wasps, Bath, and Sale Sharks, is familiar with Saracens assistant coach Ian Peel from their time together with the England national team. Saracens have been seeking a replacement for Juan Figallo, who recently departed the coaching staff.

Billy Millard, the rugby director of Harlequins, is being considered by the NSW Waratahs for their open Director of Performance position. This comes shortly after he was not chosen by Rugby Australia to be their new Director of High Performance.

He is now being considered for the Tahs' team, along with former Quins and Connacht manager Andy Friend and former Wallabies forwards coach Simon Raiwalui, who recently coached Fiji during the World Cup.

At the moment, Scott Wisemantel, who used to coach the Wallabies and England's attack, is a potential candidate to be the coach for the Tahs. They are interested in bringing him on board once they hire a Director of Performance.

Stuart Lancaster is planning to add Stormers' tight-head Lee-Marvin Mazibuko to his Racing 92 team for next season, making him the tenth player to join the squad.

South African youth international Mazibuko, who played for Viadana 26 in Italy for a season, is among the 15 players that the Stormers have announced are departing. He will be heading to Paris along with his teammate Hacjivah Dayimani.

Mazibuko, who appeared in three matches for the Stormers in the URC and Champions Cup this season, has agreed to a one-year deal with the possibility of extending for a second season. He will be filling the spot left by Trevor Nyakane, who is joining the Sharks.

The recent champions of the Premiership, Northampton Saints, are going to be without their Fiji hooker, Sam Matavesi. He has agreed to a contract with Lyon in the Top 14 league until 2026.

Truro native Matavesi, 32, who is a member of the Royal Navy, began his rugby career with Plymouth Albion and Cornish Pirates before playing for Toulouse. He recently joined The Saints, where he plays a crucial role in the front row.

Curtis Langdon and Robbie Smith are currently on the team, with Craig Wright also expected to join soon. Matavesi made his last appearance, his 89th, during the Premiership Final victory against Bath on June 8th.

Ex-Scotland player Stevie Scott has received a new two-year contract as a reward for his role in Bath making it to the Premiership Final recently.

Scott, who has previously coached Scotland, Sale Sharks, Edinburgh, and Utah Warriors, has been recognized for improving the performance of the Bath scrum to become the top performing team in the Premiership based on statistical analysis, as noted by many experts.

The ex-prostitute will now reside at The Rec until 2026, only a year after Head of Rugby Johann van Graan brought him on board along with former England and Scotland coach and club icon Andy Robinson to his coaching staff.

Vannes have been dealt a setback in the transfer market following their promotion to the Top 14 league for the first time ever. Former Australian national team player Kane Douglas is on his way to La Rochelle, leaving Vannes without his services.

Vannes has been showing interest in Douglas, a 31-year-old player who is departing Bordeaux. They have also reportedly made a two-year contract proposal to Francis Saili, a former All Black player who will be leaving Racing 92 at the end of his current contract.

Filipo Nakosi, the winger from Castres and Fiji, recently toured the Vannes training facilities and grounds as the team ramps up their player recruitment before the transfer window closes.

Lyon has been advised to not consider hiring Jono Gibbes, the coach of the New Zealand Under-20s team, once the Junior World Cup concludes in the coming months.

Gibbes, who also manages the Chiefs Development XV, was sought after by Lyon to come back to France. He has previously worked at Clermont Auvergne and La Rochelle two times before heading back home after being fired by the former.

As per sources in France, the New Zealand Rugby Union has declined Lyon's proposal to hire him as their new leader for the upcoming season. They anticipate that he will fulfill his current contract with them instead.

This week, the Sydney Roosters and the Gold Coast Titans will make a final effort to persuade Rugby Australia to release Carter Gordon and Mark Nawaqanitawase from their contracts ahead of schedule.

The Wallabies coach, Joe Schmidt, decided not to include the duo in his squad for the upcoming tests against Wales and Georgia in July. He also mentioned that he would not oppose the pair leaving before the NRL's transfer deadline on June 30th.

The two athletes have not officially asked to be released from their contracts early in order to change sports. Their current contracts end later this year, but it seems like Rugby Australia is willing to take a tough stance for now.

Stade Francais are interested in bringing Toulouse outside center Pierre-Louis Barassi to Paris, even though he still has a year left on his contract with Stade Ernest-Wallon.

Barassi, who is 26 years old, made 21 appearances for Toulouse in the previous season. However, it seems that he might not be needed anymore and could be permitted to depart from the team in the upcoming summer if Stade is willing to provide a satisfactory transfer fee.

The ex-Lyon player, who has represented his country three times, reportedly wants to join the team.

Clermont Auvergne's Rabah Slimani is getting closer to joining Leinster as they look to fill the void left by Michael Ala'alatoa, who is leaving Dublin for another club.

RugbyPass has learned that Leinster is close to finalizing the contract for the former French International player shortly after securing RG Snyman and Jordie Barrett for the upcoming season.
