Romania v Netherlands score LIVE: Euro 2024 result as Donyell Malen seals win
The Netherlands played better and defeated Romania to secure a spot in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024.
Cody Gakpo scored a strong first goal and Donyell Malen sealed the 3-0 win with two goals in the second half.
The Dutch team's next match will be against either Austria or Turkey in the quarter-finals, which will take place in Berlin on Saturday. Austria had a impressive showing, defeating the Netherlands 3-2 during the group stage.

Their midfield performed much better after some changes, and their strikers were starting to find their rhythm. Ronald Koeman's team will play against either Austria or Turkey in Berlin on Saturday evening.

The captain of Romania, Nicolae Stanciu, is very angry because his team's promising counter-attack is stopped due to a high boot by Denis Alibec. It is very unlucky for Romania because Alibec did not actually make contact with Denzel Dumfries, but the Dutch defender still fell to the ground.
