The famous personality, aged 31, has recently decided to put an end to his role as the presenter of Capital Breakfast, which he has been doing for seven years.

He presented the program starting from May 2017 until March 2014. At first, he worked together with Vick Hope and was later joined by Sonny Jay in 2018 as another co-host.

Despite the tragic incident, Roman persisted as the show's host until he recently revealed in February of this year that he would be resigning from his role.

Roman shared his thoughts on his departure from Capital, stating that the passing of his friend played a role in his choice due to the constant feeling of reliving the same day repeatedly.

In an interview with The Mirror, Roman expressed that he believes making a significant decision to move on and close a chapter in his life is not related to his career in radio or any other job.

The content of my story is related to my personal experiences. I know it may seem unbelievable, but it's true - when something terrible occurs in your home, it's natural to want to relocate.

The executives at Capital are aware of this, and I have mentioned it before. It was a challenging experience for me, and I went through a terrible time in that recording studio. Even after four years, it feels like I am reliving that same day repeatedly, minus the dreadful incident.

Roman stated: "Personally, I am fully prepared to say, 'Alright, let's shut the door on that experience and move on. I don't want to relive that terrible day again.""

It's unfortunate that it deeply impacts me, but it does. It's strange to walk into the place and come across Joe every single day.

In my opinion, it will be greatly beneficial for me to progress forward in my life.

At the workplace, Roman was informed of the distressing information regarding his mate. His coworkers went to Joe's house to inquire about his absence from work that day and reported their findings to him.

Ever since that time, Roman Kemp has become an ardent supporter of mental wellness for men. He even created a documentary that addresses the issue titled Roman Kemp: Our Silent Emergency.

While advocating for enhanced mental health assistance in the United Kingdom, he frequently discusses his beloved absent companion, Joe.

Even though Roman has no intention of going back to radio in the near future, he is presently in charge of the FFS! My Dad is Martin Kemp podcast alongside his father, who happens to be the renowned Spandau Ballet celebrity.

During a recent occurrence, the duo conversed about his father's two harmless brain tumors that were discovered in the year 1995.

Martin, who is 62 years old, shared that he has lived an amazing life. When he was 34 years old, he had a period where he believed he might pass away. For two years, he reflected on his life and came to the conclusion that he was content with how he had lived. He even thought, if he were to die, he could go knowing he had led a fulfilling life. This happened some time ago.

As each year passes, I am grateful for every month that I am still here. It feels like an extra gift to be alive and well.
