The 2013 edition of Strictly had Windsor and Meaden as a couple who got eliminated along with three others. They were also a part of the show's UK tour which took place the next year and was broadcasted live.

Meaden remembered how he instructed his mother to dance on her 80th birthday celebration and they spun around the dance place... She felt cheerful under his guidance.

He was not just a simple person but a multifaceted individual who shared his life's difficulties after gaining fame. It was fortunate for me to have had the opportunity to meet you Robin, realizing that you are no longer with us is difficult.

Throughout his participation in Strictly Come Dancing, Windsor was matched with Patsy Kensit and Anita Dobson, both of whom were removed in the eighth round, as well as Lisa Riley, who successfully progressed to the semi-finals.

After Windsor joined forces with Meaden, he faced a back injury the following year which made him withdraw from the dance competition.

However, even without being paired with a famous person, he made a comeback to the show during the 2014 season. He joined the rest of the professionals in group performances.

He carried on featuring in the Christmas editions of Strictly up until the year 2015, where he took part alongside Alison Hammond.

Following his passing, many former and current stars of Strictly expressed their condolences to Windsor. This included hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, judges Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood, and Shirley Ballas, as well as professional dancers Oti Mabuse and Dianne Buswell. The overwhelming response was a testament to Windsor's impact on the show and the entertainment industry as a whole.

It has not been officially announced what caused Windsor's passing. He was previously the lead performer in Come What May, a performance honoring the movie Moulin Rouge.
