Earlier this week, Meaden's former partner from the 2013 season of BBC One's dance competition passed away at the age of 44.

On Instagram and X, Meaden expressed deep sorrow upon receiving the heart-wrenching news of Windsor's demise.

She expressed that she was considering the individuals who were close to him, such as his family, friends, and significant others, who will likely be feeling a great deal of sadness due to his passing.

"He was really a great person," she went on. "He displayed kindness and amazing generosity, backing numerous charitable organizations, assisting numerous individuals, and dedicating himself to selflessly serving others."

His personality was lively and enthusiastic and he definitely had a glimmer about him... he was most ecstatic when adorned in gems!

Meaden recalled him as somebody who possessed skills, intelligence (a fantastic companion for a trivia game), and was enjoyable to be around.

Windsor together with Meaden got eliminated in the fourth position in the 2013 series of Strictly. They also performed in the live UK tour for the show in the subsequent year.

Meaden remembered that the man instructed her mother on how to dance in preparation for her 80th birthday celebration, and they gracefully twirled around the dance area, spreading joy everywhere. He had an innate ability to uplift people's spirits and create a positive atmosphere.

Robin was a multifaceted and relatable person who didn't shy away from discussing the challenges of life after being in the public eye. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to know you, Robin. It's still hard to believe that you're no longer with us.

Throughout his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, Windsor was matched up with three different partners, namely Patsy Kensit, Anita Dobson, and Lisa Riley. Unfortunately, Kensit and Dobson were both out of the competition by the eighth round, while Riley made it all the way to the semi-finals.

In the year following Windsor's teaming up with Meaden, he had to withdraw from the dancing competition owing to a back ailment.

Despite not being paired with a famous person, he made a comeback to the show during the 2014 series and participated in collective dances alongside the rest of the experts.

He also made appearances in the Christmas specials of Strictly until 2015. During that time, he took part in the competition alongside Alison Hammond.

Many celebrities from the present and past of the television show Strictly expressed sadness and paid their respects to Windsor after news of his death surfaced. Some of these well-known figures include the show's hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, and judges Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood, and Shirley Ballas, as well as professional dancers Oti Mabuse and Dianne Buswell.
