Mel Stride out of Tory leadership race as Robert Jenrick leads second-round vote – video

Mel Stride, who serves as the shadow work and pensions secretary, has been eliminated from the Conservative leadership contest after finishing last in the second round of voting, following Priti Patel's exit. Robert Jenrick led the votes once again, receiving 33 votes—five more than Kemi Badenoch.

Mel Stride is no longer in the running for the Conservative Party leadership race.
