Based on information made public by the Official Charts Company, Rick Astley is at the top of the midweek chart with his ninth studio album called "Are We There Yet?" (which was released through BMG).
If it maintains its position, the vocalist of "Never Gonna Give You Up" will achieve his third top spot. He previously succeeded with "Whenever You Need Somebody" in 1987 and "50" in 2016.

The situation is not yet concluded.
Ren, the Welsh singer and songwriter, has released her sophomore album titled "Sick Boi (The Other Songs)." It is currently less than 400 units away from Rick Astley's new collection on the charts. Despite this close competition, the OCC suggests that Ren should not be underestimated.
According to information collected by the charts compiler from sales and online listening, Holly Humberstone has a good chance of taking third place with her first album Paint My Bedroom Black (Polydor). The album has recently debuted as No. 3 on the Official Chart Update.
The latest release from The Streets, titled The Darker the Shadow the Brighter the Light, has made a strong debut on the music charts, entering at number four. This marks the first new album from the group in almost 13 years. The success of this album should come as no surprise, as The Streets have consistently achieved top 10 rankings with their albums since their debut, Original Pirate Material, in 2002. That album reached the number 10 spot on the charts, starting a streak of six consecutive top 10 albums for the group.
The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd, which was reissued in honor of its 50th anniversary, is climbing up the chart ranking and is likely to reach the top 5. The album is widely recognized as one of the best-selling records of all time and was originally released in 1973, reaching the second position on the chart. Based on recent data from the OCC, the album is expected to move to the fifth place soon. Additionally, Roger Waters’ The Dark Side of the Moon Redux landed on the top 10 list last Friday on October 13th.
New releases by British blues duo When Rivers Meet (Aces Are High at No. 6 on One Road) and Australian pop star Troye Sivan (Something to Give Each Other at No. 7 on Polydor) are also aiming to enter the top 10 chart. ABBA's Agnetha Fältskog's 2013 solo album A, which has a special re-recording called A+ (BMG), could also make a return to the top 10, as it is currently sitting at No. 9 on the chart.
The Official U.K. Albums Chart will be released on Friday night, uncovering all the details.
