The renowned singer, Rick Astley, is set to perform at the Eden Sessions in 2024. The concert will take place on July 3, 2024, in front of the iconic Eden Project Biomes. The event promises to be a memorable experience for fans of the pop genre.

The Lightning Seeds, who are known as the indie pop heroes from Liverpool, will be the distinguished guests for the night.

The career of Rick Astley is split up into two distinct parts, which is truly impressive. Back in 1987, he rose to worldwide fame with his famous hit song Never Gonna Give You Up, becoming a popular artist around the globe who topped music charts and even earned a BRIT Award.

This level of fame was increased by subsequent successful songs such as Together Forever and Whenever You Need Somebody.

Rick made a comeback when he turned 50 and returned to the music industry by releasing 50, which topped the charts in 2016. Prior to that, he had taken a break from being in the public eye.

The singer, songwriter, and producer still maintains his youthful appearance and has managed to remain highly successful. He has even had the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of artists such as the Foo Fighters and Blossoms. This past summer, he delivered amazing performances at two festivals at Glastonbury, and his most recent album, "Are We There Yet?" reached the number two spot on the charts.

Rick has accomplished the impressive feat of having six albums in the top ten of the UK music charts, as well as eight singles in the top ten. His debut single, Never Gonna Give You Up, not only became his first number one hit, but it has also amassed over 1.5 billion views on YouTube, making it a major player in the popular "Rickrolling" meme.

At the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, Rick won the prestigious title of Best Act Ever, triumphing over famous musicians such as Britney Spears, U2 and Green Day.

Ian Broudie created The Lightning Seeds, where he served as the singer, producer, and musician. This band produced some of the well-known tracks of the 1990s such as Pure, The Life of Riley, and Lucky You.

Back in 1996, they collaborated with funny people David Baddiel and Frank Skinner to produce the well-known Three Lions as the designated song for England's football team participating in Euro '96. As soon as the song was released, it immediately hit the number one spot on the UK charts. Similarly, in 1998, a modified version was made for the World Cup, and the song once again emerged as a chart-topper. Recently, in 2018, the song was yet again re-released and it climbed to the top of UK charts once more.

Rita Broe expressed her excitement in welcoming two highly admired performers, Rick Astley and The Lightning Seeds, to the Eden Sessions.

The Lightning Seeds have also given us some of the most famous anthems of recent years. We're excited for their upcoming concert at Eden because it is sure to be a memorable experience.
