On Sunday, there was a solemn atmosphere throughout the country during a touching ceremony officiated by King Charles III.

At 11am, a moment of quietude for two minutes was observed throughout the United Kingdom, followed by the laying of wreaths by the royal family members, high-ranking politicians, and prominent figures at the Cenotaph in London.

A significant law enforcement effort continues after the detention of over 120 individuals, mostly belonging to the far-right counter-protester group. This happened after a rally supporting Palestine was organized on the commemoration of Armistice Day.

Charles headed the nation's presence at the Whitehall commemoration, honoring the conclusion of the First World War and additional instances of conflict involving British and Commonwealth troops.

Around ten-thousand veterans and eight-hundred members of the Armed Forces from all branches participated in a parade afterwards.
