Rebekah Vardy reacted after the mention of her well-known Wagatha Christie rivalry with Coleen Rooney came up almost immediately in the opening episode of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The show's presenters, Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, poked fun at the ongoing legal feud. They referenced how she was required to pay Coleen's legal fees after losing a prominent defamation lawsuit in 2022, quipping that it would be refreshing for Coleen to be involved in a trial that doesn't include Rebekah Vardy.

Ant assured everyone, “You'll be seeing a lot more of these jokes!”

The 42-year-old WAG faced additional ridicule on the spin-off series I'm a Celebrity Unpacked, following criticism she received while participating in the main show.

During the presentation, Joel Dommett reminisced about the well-known event when Vardy's agent "misplaced" her phone in the North Sea, which was connected to the legal battle between her and Coleen Rooney. He also made a light-hearted remark about a "leak."

He commented on that night’s events, saying, “We witnessed Coleen Rooney's boat going down. This isn’t the first time she’s dealt with a leak.”

The WAG responded to the teasing that occurred during the show on her Instagram account.

"Don't fret, I won't be filling the next three weeks with just jokes about Wagatha Christie. Take it easy, everyone. This show is focused on the thrilling drama that goes beyond just a certain agent’s phone in the North Sea."

Vardy responded to the jokes made during the ITV launch on Sunday and seemed unbothered by the remarks. She took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of herself in a bikini from her time on the Jungle show, captioning it: “When you know you’re occupying space in people’s minds for free [laughing emojis].”

She also posted a video of Donald Trump talking about facing criticism. In it, he states, “Let them question you and critique you. The more they challenge you, the tougher you get. Achieving success is always accompanied by obstacles and negativity. Dislike is simply a part of that experience.”

The video went on to say: “Keep this in mind: nobody who accomplished something remarkable did so without encountering challenges. Feelings of hatred often stem from fear, insecurity, and envy.”

"People often feel resentment towards you because your ambition and determination unsettle them. Your willingness to exceed boundaries challenges the safe space they've created in their comfortable, average lives."

So, what’s the best course of action? Allow them to dislike you. Their opinions should just fade into the background. You weren’t brought into this world to seek their validation. Your life isn’t about making them feel at ease.

"You've come to pursue your passions, to go after your dreams, and to create a life that reflects who you are. You're amazing just the way you are."

Vardy is familiar with the ITV show, having participated in the 2017 season, where she was the third contestant to be voted off.

I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is still airing at 9 PM.
