90 minutes into the game, Marco Palestra and Alberto Manzoni substitute Hien and Pašalić. Both players will only be on the field for a short amount of time, just two minutes each.

After 89 minutes, Bellingham, Vinícius Júnior and Carvajal are substituted out and replaced by Arda Güler, Lucas Vázquez and Dani Ceballos.

In the 87th minute, Atalanta is still fighting, Lookman keeps trying. He passes to Ruggeri on the left side. A high cross reaches Godfrey at the far post. Godfrey hits the ball wide on the right side from a short distance. In a parallel universe, a player who never scored a goal in 93 games for Everton has scored three goals tonight.

In the 81st minute, Retegui collides with Mendy, causing Mendy to roll around for a brief moment as the time continues to pass.

In the 79th minute, Lookman made a risky tackle on Carvajal's ankle. Carvajal quickly got back up and seemed ready to fight back. Other players stepped in to prevent any further conflict. Luckily, the referee and VAR were not too strict in their decision-making. The challenge was quite aggressive and some players have been sent off for similar actions.

77 minutes into the game, Rodrygo leaves the field to make room for Luka Modrić, who is greeted with a loud and enthusiastic reception from the fans, showing their appreciation for him.

76 minutes into the game, Ruggeri sends a cross from the left side. Godfrey, who has been causing trouble for Real Madrid's defense, fights for the ball at the far post but is unable to score from a rebound.

At 74 minutes, Bakker made a low cross from the left side of Atalanta. Surprisingly, Godfrey attempted to score but Courtois saved the shot. Real Madrid quickly countered with Rodrygo taking a shot from distance that forced Musso to make a save. Peter Oh noticed that the first goal, scored by Brazil's Vini Junior to Uruguay's Federico Valverde, showed the influence of Conmebol despite this being a UEFA event.

In the 72nd minute, the play that resulted in the second goal started when Rodrygo stole the ball from the usually strong Hien and passed it to Vinicius Junior, who then passed it to Bellingham. This is an impressive start for Bellingham at his new club. He moves skillfully to the left near the goal, patiently waiting for an opportunity. Finally, a gap appears and he passes the ball back to Mbappé, who scores with a precise shot into the top corner. It was a composed assist and a fantastic finish!

67 minutes into the game, Lookman pushes past Militao on the left side but can't find anyone to pass to. Real Madrid clears the ball, but Atalanta regains possession with Lookman passing to Ruggeri. A cross from the left is deflected wide by De Roon.

66 minutes into the game, Bellingham swiftly moves towards the left side, makes his way into the penalty box, and takes a powerful shot from a difficult angle. Musso, who has been making impressive saves for Real, manages to block yet another shot.

64 minutes in, Djimsiti receives a yellow card for knocking over Bellingham on the left side. Atalanta are definitely feeling the pressure.

63 minutes into the game, Atalanta are struggling and hanging on. They decide to make a substitution, bringing in Ben Godfrey and Mateo Retegui for their first appearances in the match. Zappacosta and De Katelaere leave the pitch to make way for the newcomers.

62 minutes into the game, Bellingham takes a shot from the corner despite the crowded penalty area. The ball goes up high, almost heading towards the top-left corner, but Militão tries to push it in. However, Musso manages to recover and prevent the goal by clawing the ball out. The referee blows the whistle for a foul on the goalkeeper. It was truly an incredible save!

In the 61st minute, there was a great opportunity for another goal, as Vinicius Junior broke free in the middle. He only had the goalkeeper to get past, but the ball bounced awkwardly and his shot was saved by Musso, who tipped it over the bar.

Real Madrid Scores First Goal Against Atalanta

Here is the first goal of the game, and it was a simple finish for Valverde, who easily taps the ball into the net from close range. Vinicius Junior did all the hard work, as he skillfully dribbled past Djimsiti on the left side before sprinting towards the touchline and setting up his teammate. What a great pass!

58 minutes in and it seems like a goal might finally be on the way. Mbappé makes a run down the right side and gets into the box, but Hien stays strong and calmly blocks the shot.

In the 57th minute of the game, Rudiger tries to pass and move forward, but Hien intercepts the ball when he receives it back from Bellingham. Atalanta quickly counterattacks, with Lookman demonstrating his talent on the left side, but he is unable to connect with a teammate in the center.

56 minutes into the game, Valverde sprinted down the right side and quickly passed the ball to Bellingham. Bellingham then attempted a shot towards the top left corner from outside the penalty area, but unfortunately, it went high and wide. It's disappointing, as it would have been a fantastic goal.

At the 54th minute mark, Lookman smoothly evades Carvajal on the left side, but gets a bit too confident and tries to pass the ball through Militão's legs. However, the Real defender isn't fooled and holds his position before kicking the ball away.

53 minutes into the game, Carvajal had some room on the right side and took a shot that was deflected, almost going into the bottom right corner. It resulted in a corner kick, but unfortunately, it didn't lead to anything.

After those remarks, the game quickly becomes messy once more. It's to be expected.

50 minutes into the game, Mbappé struggles to get a shot off, while Vinícius Júnior makes a successful dribble down the left side to earn a corner kick. Musso confidently catches the corner kick. The second half is proving to be more exciting than the first half.

After Real Madrid fails to properly defend the corner kick, the ball lands at the feet of Ruggeri, who shoots a powerful shot from outside the penalty area but misses the target to the left. The offside flag is raised as a Real Madrid player was in an offside position in the box.

After 47 minutes, Atalanta almost scored a goal. De Roon sent a curved pass from the right side. Pašalić, positioned on the left side of the penalty area, jumped highest to head the ball back towards the goal's top-right corner. Courtois stretched out completely to deflect the ball to the corner for a corner kick.

46 minutes into the game, Mbappe quickly dribbles down the left side, twisting past Djimsiti before entering the penalty area and sending a shot high over the goal.

Both teams have struck the crossbar, which has made the first half seem more exciting than it actually was.
