Endrick, the exciting Brazilian talent, played his first game for Real Madrid in a 1-0 friendly match against AC Milan on Wednesday.
The game, held at Soldier Field in Chicago in front of 61,568 fans, highlighted the young forward's skills even though several of Madrid's best players were not present, including Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, and Rodrygo.
During his time on the field, Endrick managed to take a single shot at the goal. He was then substituted at halftime as part of a planned rotation organized by manager Carlo Ancelotti. Ancelotti had kind words for Endrick's abilities during his time on the pitch.
"Endrick possesses a unique talent," Ancelotti stated. "He is quick, dangerous in small spaces, and can turn rapidly with agility. His ability to maneuver freely and showcase such qualities makes him a remarkable talent. It's not often we come across a player with these exceptional characteristics."
Nigerian player Samuel Chukwueze scored the winning goal for Milan in the 56th minute, securing their second win in two pre-season games under the guidance of Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca.
"We participated, we battled, we accomplished some positive things. The initial match of the pre-season had many young players, and the main objective was to compete, which we successfully did throughout the game. There were some highlights and areas for improvement, but that's to be expected," Ancelotti explained.
Madrid will be facing Barcelona in the upcoming 'El Clasico' match in New Jersey during their tour of the United States. Mbappé and Chelsea will also be playing in Charlotte on the same day.
