Railway Strikes May Affect FA Cup Travel: Chiltern's Alert
The strikes will cause a big problem for Chiltern Railways customers. It will also affect people going to the FA Cup final.
Chiltern Railways runs two routes: Aylesbury to Marylebone and Aylesbury to Marylebone via High Wycombe. The second one stops at Wembley.
Train operator will be heavily affected by ASLEF and RMT's strike; several days have no Chiltern Railways services.
On May 31 and June 3, ASLEF is striking so no trains will run on any Chiltern route. If you're going to the FA Cup Final (June 3), you won't be able to go to the Wembley Stadium station. Instead, use the London Underground services to arrive at Wembley Stadium.
On June 1, the train service will be limited because ASLEF is taking industrial action by banning overtime. There will be no trains going north of Birmingham Moor Street or stopping at South Ruislip, Northolt Park, Sudbury Hill Harrow, Sudbury & Harrow Road, and Kings Sutton.
Routes will have less service than before, and all routes will end earlier. People should anticipate more crowded trips and review their entire journey before leaving.
June 2 will have a small train service. RMT strike is the reason. Banbury will be the limit for northbound service. The running trains will also change their schedule - starting and stopping early. Chiltern Railways is telling its customers to only go if it's urgent.

Trains run from 8 in the morning to 10 at night. There's one train each hour that goes from Marylebone to Banbury and back. Same thing for Marylebone to Oxford. And for Marylebone to Aylesbury (using High Wycombe). There's also a train per hour from Amersham to Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
