Qatar has denounced the assault which resulted in the death of at least 40 Palestinians as a serious breach of worldwide laws. A UN special rapporteur has recommended the implementation of penalties on Israel.

Numerous nations and international entities have expressed disapproval of the Israeli airstrike on the Rafah city tents, which were providing shelter for those displaced in Gaza. The attack resulted in the deaths of approximately 40 Palestinians, with a significant number of them being minors.

On Monday, the Palestinian leadership accused Israel of purposefully attacking innocent people, adding to the numerous voices around the world denouncing the assault.

The Palestinian leadership issued a statement condemning the Israeli occupation forces for committing a savage massacre. They challenged the legitimacy of all international resolutions as a result. Israeli forces were accused of deliberately aiming and destroying the tents of those who had already been displaced, which was deemed unacceptable.

On a certain date, the UN's organization for Palestinian refugees known as UNRWA, released a statement emphasizing that the pictures captured from Rafah portray once again the fact that Gaza is a place of great misery and suffering.

Sami Abu Zuhri, a high-ranking member of Hamas, described the recent attack as a "massacre" and attributed it to the United States' provision of financial and military support to Israel.

The highest legal officer for Israel's military has called the attack extremely serious and announced a full investigation will take place. During a press briefing, Major-General Yifat Tomer Yerushalmi assured that the inquiry will be comprehensive as the specifics of the situation are still being looked into. The Israeli army expresses remorse for any harm caused to civilians in the course of the conflict.

According to Palestinian witnesses and Sanad, a fact-checking agency operated by Al Jazeera, the camp that housed innocent people in Tal as-Sultan area of Rafah was purposely attacked.

According to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), reported by the Wafa news agency, women and children were among those who lost their lives. The tragic incident left many occupants trapped inside their tents and burned to death.

A Kuwaiti Hospital located in Rafah received accounts from a resident who claimed that the tents had melted and even the people's bodies had melted due to the attack.
