I'm really excited that this series has connected with viewers to such an exceptional degree and had great success on iPlayer.

Tonight marks the exciting conclusion of Race Across the World, a very popular and well-received TV series from the BBC that has even won a prestigious BAFTA award. In fact, the first two episodes of the show managed to amass an impressive 7.1 million viewers each, over a period of 28 days.

Studio Lambert's initial concept has become the most significant BBC Factual project of the current year. Its ratings have spiked by almost one million compared to the premiere episode of the previous year. Over three million people watched the show via BBC iPlayer, which accounts for about 44 percent of the total audience, thus placing it fifth on the most popular iPlayer program of the year.

The show has been very popular among younger viewers, with an average audience of 1.1 million for people ages 16 to 34 watching the first two episodes. A significant 66% of these viewers watched the show on BBC iPlayer.

The Commissioning Editor of BBC named Michael Jochnowitz expresses his excitement about how well the series has done in appealing to the viewers and performing on iPlayer. The RATW's viewers are always unique and faithful, so it's amazing to witness it reach new heights.

Tim Harcourt, the Chief Creative Officer at Studio Lambert, expressed his enthusiasm about the high number of viewers of Race Across the World. He acknowledged the effort of all the teams that worked on the series, saying that planning such a massive show is no small task. The casting team, the on-ground filming crew, editors, production managers, and everyone involved in making season four amazing played a significant role. Tim said that the final episode would be fantastic, and he cannot wait for viewers to see it.

This year, viewers have been spellbound by the five fearless pairs competing in an awe-inspiring 15,000 km contest spanning multiple Eastern Asian nations.

In the ultimate episode airing tonight, the audience will finally learn which pair comes out as the champions and grabs the prize money of £20,000.

Studio Lambert, which is a member of All3Media, was recently awarded a BAFTA in the Factual Entertainment division for its sibling production called Celebrity Race Across the World.

The competition "Race Across the World" will air on BBC One on Wednesday, May 29 at 9pm.
