According to Vladimir Putin, the latest space station of Russia will become operative in 2027.

The space agency of Moscow, Roscosmos, declared that it will construct its own space station last year after it declared that it will exit from the International Space Station (ISS).

While visiting a rocket company in Korolyov, located near Moscow, Mr. Putin expressed that it is important to not only bring one section but the entire space station into use as resources on the International Space Station run low.

By the year 2027, the initial section is anticipated to be launched into space.

Since its inception in 1998, the ISS has served as a representation of global unity and cooperation. However, due to the aftermath of the Ukrainian conflict, Russia has decided to withdraw from the project as their connections with the Western world have been dramatically severed.

Nevertheless, it is scheduled to stay aboard until 2028, surpassing the original plan.

The leader of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov, mentioned that Russia needs to promptly establish its station to avoid lagging behind competing nations such as a collaborative effort among the space agencies of the US, Europe, Canada, and Japan.

According to him, the International Space Station is aging and will cease to exist by approximately 2030.

If we do not initiate the construction of a Russian space station on a grand scale by 2024, there is a solid chance that we will forfeit our ability due to the gap in time.

The International Space Station is a space station that orbits the Earth. It is different from China's Tiangong Space Station, which is another space station orbiting the Earth.

Companies are also interested in constructing their own spacecrafts, as the expenses associated with space exploration decrease.

Putin has made a firm commitment to advancing space exploration efforts.

According to Mr Putin, Russia is still dedicated to its mission of landing on the moon, even though the Luna-25 mission was unsuccessful earlier this year.

He expressed that errors are blunders and it's regrettable for everyone.

The act of exploring space is something that is widely recognized and comprehended by all. It is a valuable encounter that we can utilize for days to come.

Luna-25 successfully landed on the moon's surface, making it the first of its kind in almost five decades. Its objective is to investigate the moon's south pole to determine if it can accommodate a long-term human establishment.

India accomplished what Russia was unable to achieve only a few days later, creating a historical moment.
