Leading conservatives in America are celebrating the idea that 'Project 2025' will be implemented in the upcoming Donald Trump administration, even though the former president distanced himself from the initiative during his campaign.

Project 2025 is a strict conservative blueprint for governance created by his supporters.

Trump and JD Vance have dismissed any claims that their plans are up for discussion, but conservatives such as Matt Walsh and Steve Bannon have eagerly seized the chance to advocate for their policy objectives following the election.

"With the election behind us, I believe we can confidently state that Project 2025 is indeed the main focus," Walsh wrote on Wednesday.

During his podcast, just after being released from prison, former Trump advisor Bannon mentioned Walsh and fully endorsed his views.

Conservatives such as Steve Bannon are celebrating the idea that 'Project 2025' will be implemented in a new era under Donald Trump, even though the former president has distanced himself from the initiative during his campaign.

"I believe Matt Walsh is quite clever and humorous. He's fantastic. Feel free to spread that around," he remarked.

He then became noticeably more serious, reiterating his claim that the 2020 election was fraudulent and insisting that those responsible would be held accountable.

"You took away the 2020 election... This whole fake situation is being cleaned up," Bannon stated.

"Biden is being removed from office. Kamala Harris is also being ousted. MSNBC is facing significant consequences. The Justice Department is in trouble. The FBI is under scrutiny. You all have really messed things up, and now you will face the repercussions for your efforts to undermine this nation."

Bannon was recently freed after serving a four-month jail term in Connecticut for ignoring a congressional subpoena.

In 2022, he was found guilty of two charges for ignoring subpoenas related to the congressional inquiry into the January 6 assault, during which supporters of Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

Project 2025 was managed by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank comprised of former members of the Trump administration and associated organizations.

It provides a framework for Trump's presidency, featuring recommendations he has already embraced, like enhancing security at the southern border and reducing the federal role in education.

Trump and J.D. Vance have dismissed any hints that the agenda is being considered for them.

"With the election behind us, I believe we can confidently say that Project 2025 is truly the main focus," Matt Walsh stated on Wednesday.

However, it also demands a prohibition on a commonly used abortion medication, the elimination of the Department of Homeland Security, and the removal of dietary recommendations.

Trump has consistently dismissed any claims that it will serve as a guide for his presidency, stating during last month's debate that he had "nothing to do with it."

The manifesto was written by several notable figures, including Russ Vought, who served as the budget director during Trump’s presidency, and JD Vance, who was Trump's running mate. Additionally, Kevin Roberts played a key role in managing the entire initiative.

Recently, Howard Lutnick, who is leading Trump's transition team, expressed skepticism about the possibility of it being utilized in the White House.

Lutnick also distanced himself from Project 2025, a document created by a group of former Trump administration officials. The Trump campaign has consistently stated that this document does not reflect Trump's views or the campaign's agenda.

"According to Lutnick, Project 2025 is a complete nonstarter for the transition between Trump and Vance."
