Prince William has cancelled his participation in a ceremony that is set to honor his godfather at Windsor Castle, just a few hours before his scheduled speech.

Officials from the palace provided limited information, stating that the reason for his absence at the funeral of King Constantine of Greece was a "personal issue". They also mentioned that the recovery of the Princess of Wales from her recent abdominal surgery was progressing positively.

After some time had passed, news broke that Thomas Kingston, who was the spouse of Lady Gabriella Kingston - the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent - had unexpectedly passed away on Sunday at the young age of 45. The financial professional was discovered deceased at a residence in Gloucestershire, and an official inquiry will be conducted to identify the reason for his passing. However, there are currently no indications of any foul play.

Due to King Charles undergoing cancer treatment, Queen Camilla was the highest-ranking royal at the St George’s Chapel function in the absence of William.

The British royals, including the disreputable Duke of York and his former wife Sarah, Duchess of York, were also in attendance. They took the lead and walked downhill from Windsor Castle to the church.

Andrew walked in front of Sarah with a smile on his face. Following him were Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the Princess Royal and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Zara and Mike Tindall, and Lady Sarah Chatto, who is a relative of the King.

Queen Camilla departs from St George's Chapel following the thanksgiving ceremony commemorating the existence of King Constantine.

The children of Constantine II, along with his Widow Queen Anne-Marie and some grandchildren, came together. The attendees were Crown Prince Pavlos, Princess Alexia, Prince Nikolaos, Princess Theodora, and Prince Philippos.

The Greek royal family invited a few distinguished people to attend the service, including former UK prime minister Sir John Major, retired Formula One racer Sir Jackie Stewart, and Spanish royals King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia.

Constantine passed away at the age of 82 in January of the previous year. He happened to be a sailing partner and a first cousin once removed of the late Duke of Edinburgh. Prior to his death, he was removed from the throne in a military coup that took place several decades ago.

It had been anticipated that William would go to the event by himself since Kate decided to take a pause from her official duties until after Easter. This was due to the surgery she had in January.

King Charles has put off almost all his public appearances as he undergoes treatment for a type of cancer that is not disclosed to the public.

After taking a hiatus to look after Kate, who had an undisclosed medical procedure at the London Clinic, William has now resumed his responsibilities as a member of the royal family. Kate spent around two weeks at the private hospital before heading back to the Windsor residence where the couple resides with their children.

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were at the forefront of the procession towards the religious ceremony taking place in St George's Chapel.

As per reports, she had plans to carry on with some work from her home, but it is unlikely for her to appear in public events until after Easter. Moreover, she hasn't been spotted in public ever since Christmas Day.

In the last few weeks, Prince William has taken part in a number of events. These include being present at a ceremony where people are given official awards at Windsor Castle, attending a charity event for an air ambulance organisation, and going to the Baftas, where he walked down the red carpet on his own.

The ex-pair were observed grinning as they guided everyone towards the chapel.

At this moment, there aren't any confirmed events recorded in the royal timetable for the individual who is next in line for the throne.

Last Friday, there was a photograph captured of Charles with a happy expression on his face while he was browsing through approximately 7,000 cards and messages that were given to him following his diagnosis.

Several days had passed since he performed his initial in-person official engagements, which included a meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and a private council meeting on Wednesday, after the announcement of his health condition.

The cancer he is suffering from has not been disclosed, and we're uncertain about the planned count of treatments. Nonetheless, he has undergone a minimum of two rounds of treatment.
