New Prince George photo released on his 11th birthday

Prince George

Kensington Palace shared a fresh picture of Prince George to celebrate his 11th birthday.

The mother of the subject, Catherine, who is a princess by title, took the picture this year.

Today, the social media account of the Palace shared a message to wish Prince George a joyful 11th birthday. The message was accompanied by a picture.

The prince was spotted recently with his father, the Prince of Wales, in Berlin at the Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.

Catherine often snaps pictures of her family and posts them on social media to celebrate birthdays and special events.

This year, the prince's photo is in black and white, which is different from the more relaxed picture he posted on his 10th birthday. In that photo, he was sitting on steps with his sleeves rolled up.

In the newest picture, he is wearing a friendship bracelet that looks similar to the one his sister, Princess Charlotte, wore at the Wimbledon men's final a few weeks ago.

During the month of June, Prince George, who is next in line for the throne, joined other royalty in celebrating his grandfather King Charles III's birthday. They all stood together on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the occasion.

Catherine made her first public appearance at the event since revealing her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
