Apple TV+ is now a Prime Video add-on subscription | ScreenHub Australia - Film & Television Jobs, News,
Apple TV+ has teamed up with Prime Video to provide its library of content as an additional subscription option for the Amazon-owned streaming platform.
Apple TV+ can now be added to your Prime Video subscription in Australia for $12.99 AUD a month. This means you can access the libraries of both streaming services in one place, allowing you to enjoy shows like Ted Lasso, Severance, Silo, and Slow Horses all without having to switch between different apps.
The launch comes after the successful introduction of Apple TV+ as an additional option to Prime Video in the US last October. Now, the service is also being made available in Australia, Canada, and the UK.

Australian Prime Video users now have access to Apple TV+, making it the 22nd streaming service available to them. Daniel Slepak, who leads the Prime Video marketplace in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, emphasized the ease of use: "Prime Video provides a carefully chosen range of high-quality content, live sports, and various streaming subscriptions—all accessible with one login and without the need for extra apps."
Apple TV+ is steadily establishing itself as a strong contender in the industry, boasting more than 500 awards and 2,300 nominations. This includes significant achievements like CODA, which made history as the first streaming movie to take home the Academy Award for Best Picture.
Prime Video currently provides a variety of streaming add-ons in Australia, such as:
Crunchyroll is the latest addition to the lineup, with its acquisition officially announced last October. Apple TV+, which mainly features Apple Original series and movies, can now be part of that collection.
