Substitute Harry Maguire salvaged a point for Manchester United, who were playing with 10 men, as they ended up in a 3-3 draw against Porto.
Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund scored, giving the visitors a strong advantage over a Porto team that had fallen short in their first match of the UEFA Europa League.
After Rashford was substituted at halftime, Omorodion scored what appeared to be the decisive goal for Porto.
Things took a turn for the worse for Ten Hag when captain Bruno Fernandes received a red card for his second high kick during the match.
But then, substitute Maguire came into play, scoring with a header from Christian Eriksen's corner kick to equalize in the 91st minute.

A draw with Porto would only increase the pressure on coach Erik Ten Hag.
In the first 20 minutes, United had the upper hand, and with Marcus Rashford causing chaos, they seemed destined to secure an easy victory.
Nevertheless, that sense of unease quickly resurfaced when United struggled to defend properly or assert their dominance in the backline, which allowed Pepe and Omorodion to take advantage of the situation.
Young forward Omorodion seemed to have secured the victory, and then United had to depend on goalkeeper Andre Onana to prevent Galeno from scoring a fourth goal.
Ten Hag's team has developed a tendency to let in a lot of goals when playing away in European tournaments, and there's little indication that this issue is being addressed.

The young 20-year-old forward from Porto has significantly boosted his career by netting two goals against Manchester United.
At first, Matthijs de Ligt managed to hold him back, but eventually, he outplayed the United defender, giving his team the lead.
Omorodion seemed to possess the natural instincts of a striker, consistently finding himself in the ideal spots for his midfield teammates to deliver passes to him.
