Everyone knows I have a deep love for Argyle and that feeling will never waver. I saw Simon Hallett and John Morgan before the match as I arrived.
I haven't had a proper conversation with Simon since then, and that's not how we want things to be. However, he just texted me now saying 'It was great seeing you and Victoria, let's remain friends', and we definitely will. I know things are still a bit sensitive, and I respect the circumstances, but it was nice to catch up with everyone.
Schumacher stated: "I've been searching for the perfect opportunity to contact Simon. I had planned to reach out this week, but with all the pressure and the importance of the game, I thought it might be better to wait until next week."

Throughout the entire week, you've had a peculiar sensation in your stomach that wasn't pleasant. You made an effort to attain the desired outcome. Regarding the game, Schumacher mentioned: "The team demonstrated an excellent performance overall. We were aware of the challenge of this match beforehand. I am familiar with Argyle's capabilities."
We needed to ensure we performed well, or else Argyle could have caused us harm. The players deserve recognition for their exceptional performance, starting strong and winning numerous battles. They managed to create good opportunities and maintained a sense of calmness and skill that we haven't seen much of in previous games. While we may have missed crucial chances in the past, we were successful in seizing important moments during today's game.
The level of pressure on the team was normal, but improving our intensity and winning battles made it appear better. There were no changes to our usual strategy, we didn't intend to increase the level of pressure.
We were really on top of our game and had a great day. It seems like we caught Argyle on an off day, which can happen from time to time. They had an amazing victory on Friday night (winning 1-0 against Leicester City at Home Park). It can be tough to maintain that same level of performance again, especially in this league where it's challenging to consistently perform at your best.
The players are the ones who truly deserve recognition for their performance. They were phenomenal. Despite Argyle's potential formation change in the second half, we adapted effectively and displayed maturity. Moreover, we created a couple of significant opportunities and were entitled to score the third goal.
Luke Cundle, a midfielder, played for Argyle on loan for the first half of the season before moving to Stoke following Schumacher's transfer. Although he didn't score any goals for the Potters, he still played a significant role for the team.
According to Schumacher, Cunds possesses exceptional qualities. Today's match at Hull favored Cunds' strengths; it was a tactical football game wherein Cunds' running prowess created difficulties for the opposition. He displayed relentless energy throughout the game, causing him to exit with cramp at the end.
