Additionally, there's the release of Farming Simulator 22.

Before Sony could make an official announcement, it was discovered that two out of three games included in the October PlayStation Plus Essential collection had been leaked.

According to trustworthy source Billbil-kun, The Callisto Protocol and Farming Simulator 22 are reportedly going to be included in the Essential game selection for all PlayStation Plus members.

If you happen to own a PlayStation and haven't purchased The Callisto Protocol yet, this is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the game at a more affordable cost. It's worth noting that the game was released just last December.

Krafton, the publisher of The Callisto Protocol, did not meet their sales target and Striking Distance, the developer, terminated the employment of 32 staff members in August. The response to the game was not as enthusiastic as hoped, which led founder Glen Schofield to leave the company last week.

As September comes to a close, Sony will soon make an announcement about which games will be available for PS Plus in October.

For those curious about which games are offered on the service at the moment, we have our PS Plus games guide that reveals every playable game presently available.
