Pearl Jam cancel Tottenham Stadium concert at one day's notice

Pearl Jam has decided to cancel their show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London this weekend.

The rock band's post on X's account announced that the concert scheduled for Saturday had been called off because of sickness.

They also mentioned that the performance will not be rescheduled, and attendees can get a refund for their tickets where they bought them.

The choice was not something we wanted to decide, especially since we knew many of you had already made travel arrangements according to the tour dates.

We had no choice but to make this decision for our well-being and to prevent any additional harm.

We are very sad that we won't be able to perform in one of our favorite cities during this tour. We tried our best to reschedule, but it wasn't possible because of our prior commitments.

They also said sorry for the "trouble and frustration" it will bring to fans.

The Seattle group performed at Manchester's Co-Op Live arena earlier this week. Lead singer Eddie Vedder mentioned that he was feeling ill and struggling with his voice during the show.

Nevertheless, the band's recent blog post lacked specifics, simply stating that the London concert was called off "because of illness within the band."

The group is currently on a tour promoting their twelfth album, Dark Matter, which has achieved the second spot on the UK albums chart.

Their upcoming performance will take place in Berlin on July 2nd.
