The ex-footballer of Manchester United, who is currently signed with the well-known Italian team Juventus, was found to have excessive amounts of testosterone in his system.

It is possible that this could put an end to his professional career, since he would be close to 35 years old when he is permitted to play again.

Pogba expressed his sadness, shock, and heartbreak in a statement regarding the loss of his professional playing career that he has worked hard to build.

Once the legal limitations are lifted, the entire situation will be made transparent. However, I want to clarify that I have never intentionally or knowingly used any supplements that go against the anti-doping laws.

As someone who competes in sports for a living, I would never resort to using prohibited substances to improve my performance. Additionally, I have always shown respect towards my fellow athletes and supporters, whether they were on the same team as me or played for our opponents. Cheating is not in my vocabulary.

Pogba has declared that he will challenge the ruling by taking it to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The man from France, who achieved victory in the World Cup with Les Bleus during his prime in 2018, will be turning 31 in the upcoming month. This suggests that he might reach the age of 35 before being permitted to play on the field again.

During Juventus's initial victory at Udinese on August 20th, a test was conducted that detected the presence of a hormone that boosts endurance.

He didn't get to play in that Serie A game and remained on the bench as a substitute.

The counter-analysis of Pogba's second sample in October showed positive, which resulted in the highest possible punishment given to him.

There hasn't been any official announcement from Juventus yet, but a reliable source informed Reuters that the team has been informed about something and will consider what actions to take next.

Pogba decided against making a deal with the agency responsible for detecting the use of performance-enhancing drugs. As a result, the matter had to be heard by the nation's court that oversees anti-doping regulations.

The statement cannot be disclosed because of the privacy regulations in Italy.

Because of being injured, he has only played in eight games since he returned to Juventus from Manchester United in 2022 at no cost for the second time.

In the period when he was playing for Juve from 2012 to 2016, Pogba was praised for how well he played in both the Italian league and European contests.

He has also left a remarkable mark on the field during most of his 91 games for the French team, specifically in the course of their 2018 World Cup journey.

Pogba's return to United, after starting his career with the team and then playing for Juventus, has been seen as disappointing by many.

Pogba was bought for an exorbitant amount of money, more than £80m, but he didn't consistently play well for a disorganized United team that was struggling after the departure of Alex Ferguson.
