‘Path Of Exile 2’ Servers Down: The Latest Updates On Login Issues
The creators of Path of Exile 2 had previously informed everyone that there would be problems with logging in, server performance, and long wait times during the launch. So, it's not surprising that these issues are occurring now.
Although Path of Exile 2 was originally scheduled to go live at 2 PM ET, as I’m writing this, the game remains unavailable. The developers have provided several updates regarding the situation, which include:
If the next 30 minutes go by, access should reopen at 3 PM ET, and the servers are expected to come back online. However, right now, getting in has been a challenge. Despite this, the game is generating impressive statistics, with around a million viewers on Twitch while players are still stuck on the login screen. Additionally, there are 306,000 players currently on Steam, and that number is rising, even though they’re all just waiting to log in. At one point, the game even seemed to overwhelm the Steam database, causing it to crash.
It's not surprising that there's a lot of excitement surrounding Path of Exile 2, considering its rich background and the amount of time that's gone into developing it. We recently witnessed a successful launch of Marvel Rivals, which had no server problems. Once everything settles down, we can expect to see even more impressive figures for Path of Exile 2.
It will be intriguing to observe the combination of both new and veteran players, as well as whether any fans switching from Diablo will feel that the game meets or falls short of their expectations. However, this all depends on getting players involved first. Stay tuned for updates as we receive them.
