The music festival Parklife 2024 has recently revealed that the lead performers will be singer Doja Cat, electronic team Disclosure, and rapper J Hus, who was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

The event is set to occur at Heaton Park in Manchester on the 8th and 9th of June. Other artists joining the lineup include Sugababes, Becky Hill, and Anne-Marie.

Peggy Gou, Four Tet, and Camelphat will all be spinning tunes as part of the DJ line-up.

The event planners mentioned that the release of the line-up was the long-awaited "summons" that everyone was expecting.

According to a spokesperson, the yearly occasion, which initiated in 2010, will additionally present the introduction of a brand-new center stage, incredible presentation, fewer overlapping acts, and a modernized appearance.

The weekend event is expected to have some very special moments like Doja Cat performing at a UK festival for the first-time ever, Disclosure's only concert in the UK they will be headlining in the year 2024, and one of J Hus' first concerts after almost four years.

The complete list of performers was made public beforehand.

Last December, the festival declared a reduction in ticket charges, almost £5 less, to ensure that everyone could afford it.

During that moment, they also announced that "pioneering house icons" Fisher and Chris Lake would showcase their "gigantic" Under Construction performance on the Hanger stage at the event.

Additionally, included in the June lineup are Digga D, Mahalia, Rudim3ntal, Nia Archives, Barry Can't Swim, Wilkinson, Shy FX: Specials, Kenya Grace, Badger, Girls Don't Sync, Uncle Waffles, Chimpo, and Loco Dice.

The festival spokesperson stated that the "early bird tickets" were sold out quickly, but all the rest of the tickets would be available for purchase on Friday.

"Parklife is the festival that dominates the talk as the biggest city festival in Europe and a key event that sets the tone for the summer. It's the invitation that everyone has been eagerly anticipating," they stated.

People from all across the United Kingdom had a blast at the 2023 Heaton Park event! They got to groove to live performances, DJ sets, and had a great time overall. Even though the storm caused a break in the festivities, everyone's enthusiasm remained high.
