The famous artist known by various names such as P Diddy, Puff Daddy or Diddy, who is a rapper named Sean Combs has been accused of engaging in physical, sexual and mental abuse that lasted more than 15 years by his former girlfriend, the American singer-songwriter Cassie. However, P Diddy firmly denies all the charges against him.
Combs, a major figure in American hip hop, rose to fame in 1997 with his first album No Way Out. It quickly became a huge success and received seven platinum certifications. He first began his career at Uptown Records, where he assisted in the development of legendary R&B artists such as Mary J Blige and Jodeci. Afterward, he pursued his own music career and eventually became a record label executive and producer.

Back in 1993, he established his very own music company named Bad Boy Entertainment, and it became widely successful with the help of talented individuals from Uptown. This includes a then-unknown artist who is now a rap legend, The Notorious B.I.G. Fast forward to 12 years, the company underwent two name changes and has earned three Grammy Awards. During this time, he met a promising singer-songwriter named Cassie when she was 19 and he was 37. After being impressed with her talent, he immediately signed her to Bad Boy Entertainment in 2006. Years later, they became a couple from 2012 until 2018.
A lawsuit was filed on Thursday by Cassie whose full name is Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, revealing shocking details of alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of Combs during their relationship, as well as outside of it. The accusations spanned several years, and include various instances of physical and sexual abuse. Cassie, who is now 37, had a successful career of her own in the music industry during the early 2000s. Her debut album even made it to the top four on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart. However, she also claims that Combs controlled every aspect of her professional life - paying for her car, housing, and clothing, while also subjecting her to his abusive behavior.
In 2006, Bad Boy, which is the record label owned by Combs, added Cassie to their artist roster.
The woman alleges that Combs has been frequently abusive towards her. She claims that he has pressured her to consume drugs, made her engage in sexual activity with male prostitutes, and physically assaulted her multiple times. Moreover, she asserts that in 2019, he barged into her residence without her permission and sexually assaulted her despite her consistent protests and attempts to resist him.
Combs and Ventura openly dated for six years, but there have been accusations of mistreatment for almost the entire duration of their relationship. Despite not having any kids together, Combs has fathered children with several other women, one of them being the late actress Kim Porter. Combs has dated other famous people, including Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, and rapper Yung Miami. Following their separation, Ventura married fitness trainer Alex Fine and they now have two children together.

Following Ventura's legal claim, Combs' attorney, Ben Brafman, stated that his client strongly refutes the offensive accusations. Over the course of the past six months, Ventura has repeatedly demanded $30 million from Combs, threatening to write a defamatory book about their past relationship. Combs refused to give in to her blatant blackmail attempts. Even though Ventura later retracted her initial threats, she has now taken to the courts with a lawsuit filled with unsupported and scandalous untruths, for the sole purpose of harming Combs' reputation and securing a large sum of money.
These are the allegations that are causing the most worry in Cassie's legal case.

According to Ventura's lawsuit, after being in a relationship with Combs for some time, he pressured her into taking part in a "voyeurism" fantasy. This was referred to by Combs as "freak offs", during which Ventura was instructed to have sex with several male prostitutes in front of him. Combs would watch, take photos and record the acts. Ventura alleges that, despite claiming to delete the footage, Combs would keep some of it. These "freak offs" would occur in different places such as expensive hotels and various residences owned by Combs.

Ventura's legal action clarifies that she consumed drugs given to her beforehand while participating in the "freak offs" as they "enabled her to detach herself during these dreadful experiences."
Accusations Thrown At Him For Car Bombing Kid Cudi
As per the legal case, Combs expressed his rage towards Kid Cudi when Ventura was romantically involved with him back in 2012. The lawsuit claims that Combs even had the intention of detonating the rapper's vehicle. “Shortly thereafter,” the lawsuit states, “Kid Cudi's car was blown up in his own driveway.” Kid Cudi agreed with this statement as confirmed by his spokesperson, who verified that the rapper's automobile was, indeed, destroyed. “Yes, everything mentioned is correct,” the spokesperson said.
"Combs Accused Of Accessing Medical Records"
One of the most concerning accusations in Ventura's legal case is that Combs was able to obtain Ventura's confidential medical files.
As per the legal complaint, Ventura got an MRI test done to figure out the reasons behind her lost memory. She suspects drug consumption or physical mistreatment by Combs could be the cause. However, the scan results were sent to Combs without her consent.

"Her Accusation: He Raped Her In 2018"
Despite the numerous accusations made by Ventura in her legal case, one particular claim has garnered the most attention; the assertion that Combs invaded her residence and sexually assaulted her in 2018. As per the official court document, this alleged incident occurred following a dinner date between the two parties, during which Combs allegedly forced entry into Ventura's apartment and perpetrated the assault, despite her vocal rejection and physical resistance. Following this, Ventura permanently ended her relationship with Combs.
Not long after they went their separate ways, Ventura encountered her partner and now-husband, Alex Fine, whom she tied the knot with in 2019 and presently has two offspring with.
