50 Cent has taken a jab at Sean “Diddy” Combs in a social media post, just after the music mogul was detained by federal agents in New York City.
Combs has entered a not guilty plea to accusations of racketeering, sex trafficking, and facilitating transportation for prostitution. He is accused of operating a lengthy criminal operation that coerced women into sex work.
In a legal document made public on Tuesday morning, federal prosecutors claim that Combs intimidated and mistreated women to satisfy his sexual urges by coercing them into participating in filmed sexual acts, which he called "Freak Offs."
The FBI has disclosed that during their searches of Combs's residences in Miami and Los Angeles, they confiscated over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.
In a recent Instagram update, 50 Cent shared a photo of himself from his recent visit to Drew Barrymore’s talk show. He humorously noted, “Here I am, enjoying great company with @thedrewbarrymoreshow, and I don’t have a thousand bottles of lube at home.”
In May, 50 Cent announced that Netflix secured the rights in a competitive bidding process for a docuseries he is working on called Diddy Do It.
Jackson has consistently spoken out about the allegations against Combs that have surfaced over the past year.
When the video footage showed Combs pursuing Ventura down a hotel corridor and then pushing her to the floor, Jackson took to social media to express his views: "Now I'm convinced that Puffy is not guilty; this doesn’t prove anything! This is exactly what his attorneys will argue. May God help us all."
In a subsequent post made just hours after the CCTV footage became public, the rapper known for "In Da Club" shared an image of a statement from Combs. In that statement, Combs refuted the claims of trafficking, rape, and sexual abuse directed at him. Along with the picture, 50 Cent added: "The lie detector test shows that this was a falsehood..."
Following Combs' social media video where he expressed regret over his "unacceptable" actions caught on hotel security cameras, Jackson took to the platform to voice his disapproval. "This approach isn't effective; who is giving him advice at this moment? Shaking my head, this is a poor decision," he tweeted.
When Homeland Security conducted searches at Diddy's two residences on March 25 as part of a federal investigation into sex trafficking, 50 Cent shared a picture of the raid. He captioned it with, “Things just got serious… The Feds are at all the houses, wow, they even have the kids in handcuffs.”
