50 Cent took a jab at Sean “Diddy” Combs in a social media post, just after the troubled music executive was taken into custody by federal agents in New York City.
Combs has denied the allegations against him, which include racketeering, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution. He is accused of operating a long-standing "criminal operation" that coerced women into engaging in sexual activities.
In a court document released on Tuesday, federal prosecutors claim that Combs intimidated and mistreated women in order to satisfy his sexual urges, compelling them to take part in recorded sexual acts that he called "Freak Offs."
The FBI disclosed that their investigations at Combs's residences in Miami and Los Angeles resulted in the confiscation of over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant.
In a recent Instagram post, 50 Cent shared a picture of himself from his latest appearance on Drew Barrymore's talk show. He jokingly wrote: "Here I am enjoying great company with @thedrewbarrymoreshow, and I promise I don't have 1,000 bottles of lube at home."
In May, 50 Cent announced that Netflix emerged victorious in a bidding competition for a documentary series he is working on called Diddy Do It.
Jackson has consistently spoken out about the allegations against Combs as they've surfaced over the past year.
After the release of security camera video showing Combs pursuing Ventura in a hotel corridor and pushing her down, Jackson took to social media to express his thoughts: “I'm convinced that Puffy is innocent; this evidence doesn't prove anything! This is exactly what his legal team will argue. We need all the help we can get.”
In a separate post made just hours after the CCTV video came out, the rapper known as “In Da Club” shared an image of a message that Combs had shared earlier, where he denied the claims of trafficking, rape, and sexual abuse directed at him. Alongside the image, 50 Cent commented, “The lie detector test has confirmed this was false…”
Following Combs' video on social media where he expressed regret for his “unacceptable” actions shown in hotel CCTV footage, Jackson responded by criticizing the post. He stated, “This isn't going to fly. Who's giving him advice at the moment? Shaking my head, poor decision,” on X/Twitter.
When Homeland Security conducted raids at both of Diddy's residences on March 25 as part of a federal investigation into sex trafficking, 50 Cent shared a photo of the incident with the caption: "Things just got serious... The Feds are at all the houses; wow, they even have the kids in handcuffs."
