San Diego County Building Lights Up for World Ovarian Cancer Day

The San Diego County Administration Center will light up in teal Saturday in honor of World Ovarian Cancer Day.

Hosted by The Clearity Foundation, the building will be illuminated teal, the color associated with the ovarian cancer ribbon and ovarian cancer awareness, in honor of this special day.

The foundation will also host an event at the center Saturday evening featuring Dr. Afshin Bahador of South Coast Gynecologic Oncology.  It will also serve as a kick-off to our Teal Revolution, a virtual 5K, planned for May 22, to raise awareness and funds to support women and families everywhere who are living with ovarian cancer. 

The Clearity Foundation provides science-based treatment-decision help and whole-health support to improve survival and quality of life of women with ovarian cancer. Clearity’s services include one-to-one consultations, molecular profiling interpretation and clinical trial matchingand our Steps Through OC program, which provides professional emotional support to women and caregivers while managing an ovarian cancer diagnosis. All programs offered by The Clearity Foundation are free of charge, thanks to the generosity of their supporters.
