Ex-Strictly star Oti Mabuse gives birth to first child
Ex-Strictly Come Dancing celebrity Oti Mabuse has welcomed her inaugural baby into the world.
On Christmas Day, the professional dancer, who is 33 years old, shared a photo on Instagram featuring her, her spouse, as well as their newly born child.
Happy Christmas! I hope that you all enjoy this special holiday season and make some unforgettable experiences with your dear ones.
In August, she made it known that she was pregnant and that her spouse, Marius Lepure, would be the father of the child.
Mabuse stated that they had put a halt on their efforts to have a baby because it became overly burdensome.
She encountered her Lepure when they became dance cohorts subsequent to her departure from South Africa to Nuremberg, Germany back in 2012. Together, they contended in dance competitions.
In 2019 and 2020, Mabuse emerged victorious on the BBC dance competition alongside Kelvin Fletcher from Emmerdale and comedian Bill Bailey, respectively. In the most recent season, Mabuse competed with former rugby player Ugo Monye.
Later on, she took the place of John Barrowman, who is known for his role in Doctor Who, and became a judge on the television show Dancing On Ice. This happened last year on ITV network.
Motsi, who is the sister of the famous Oti, is 42 years old and previously worked as a judge on Let's Dance, the German version of Strictly. In 2019, she joined the judging panel of the BBC series, taking over from Darcey Bussell. After seeing her sister's post, Motsi shared a comment to express her love.
Other celebrities who sent their well-wishes to her through Instagram included Katherine Ryan, a comedic performer, Clara Amfo, a presenter on BBC, as well as James Jordan and Diane Buswell, who are both professional dancers.
