Who is Oti Mabuse?

Oti Mabuse is a professional Latin American and ballroom dancer, originally from South Africa. She is best known as a dancer and choreographer on the popular TV show "Strictly Come Dancing". She has been dancing competitively since the age of 4 and has won numerous titles, including the South African Latin American Championships and the German Championship.

Mabuse has also choreographed for a number of stage productions, including "Kiss Me Kate" and "Dance is Life". In addition to her work in dance, she has appeared as a judge on various dance competition shows and has even released her own fitness DVD, "Oti's Latin Dance Workout".

Accomplishments and Awards

Oti Mabuse has achieved many accomplishments and awards throughout her career as a dancer. In 2019, she won the "Strictly Come Dancing" championship with her partner Kelvin Fletcher. She has also been nominated for the BAFTA TV Award for Best Entertainment Programme for her work on the show.

Outside of "Strictly Come Dancing", Mabuse has been recognized for her contributions to dance. She is a three-time winner of the German Professional Latin Championships and was named South African Latin American Champion eight times. In 2018, she was also awarded the German Dance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance.
